GERMANCarl-Christian Thier
Carl-Christian Thier is a shareholder in Urban Thier Federer & Chinnery, P.A. and is the managing shareholder of the Munich office. He practices out of the Munich office, frequently traveling between the two offices to coordinate European American matters. Mr. Thier was formerly an attorney with the Esser & Partner law firm in Aachen, Germany and an Of Counsel attorney with the law firm of Hendry, Stoner, Sawicki & Brown P.A. in Orlando, Florida.
He is a transactional attorney, concentrating his practice in German and United States international law in the areas of contract law, taxation, tax planning, business entity formation and other business matters, with a particular focus on cross border investments between Germany and the United States.
Mr. Thier is a member of the German Bar and the New York Bar. He is a member of the American Committee for Foreign Relations and serves as President and Chairman of the Central Florida Chapter of the German American Business Chamber. Mr. Thier is also a United Kingdom Solicitors Regulations Authority registered European lawyer (REL).
