Patricia M. Lee

Patricia M. Lee is of counsel with Urban Thier Federer & Chinnery, P.A. She focuses primarily on international family law matters and international probate law.

She has over 18 years of transactional and litigation experience in all aspects of family law, including child custody disputes, child support assessment and enforcement, alimony, equitable distribution, fee awards, relocation, and post-judgment modification and enforcement proceedings, including at the appellate court level.

She is a referral attorney for the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, the United States implementing agency for the Hague Convention, and is experienced in the international aspects of child abduction, the federal Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act, the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act, international and national relocation issues, the impact of immigration laws upon dissolution of marriage, the domestication, modification and enforcement of foreign custody and support orders, and other bi-national divorce issues.

Ms. Lee was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Guatemalan and American parents, and studied in Hannover, Germany, prior to attending law school at Stetson University College of Law. She is proficient in both Spanish and German, which she uses regularly in representing clients from Central and South America, as well as from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1992.
