Biography

Barry Fischer is an Of Counsel Attorney with Urban Thier & Federer, P.A. He is based out of the New York office. Mr. Fischer’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation with concentration on business fraud and financial fraud. He has substantial experience in large and medium sized litigations.

He has taught trial tactics and strategy for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy at Duke University Law School and The University of Pennsylvania Law School. He has lectured for the Practicing Law Institute on conducting complex factual investigations and was a contributing author of a book on investigative techniques. Mr. Fischer has appeared on many television and radio interviews and as a television talk show panelist associated with his litigation practice. He has also appeared as a guest commentator on the Courtroom Television Network.

Furthermore, Mr. Fischer was elected by his peers and rated in the top 5% of all 93.000 New York City attorneys. He is proficient in English and Portuguese. Barry Fischer is a member of the New York Bar and the Florida Bar.
