Collection Agency Representation
Our attorneys have over 21 years of experience vigorously defending the rights of consumer collection agencies and creditors, as well as providing guidance and advice to our clients for navigating the ever-changing landscape of federal consumer debt collection and telecommunication laws, together with the vast associated regulatory schemes.

Urban Thier & Federer and its attorneys have been heavily involved in the defense of debt collectors in the Northern, Middle, and Southern districts of Florida defending claims against debt collection companies/agencies regarding the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) 15 U.S. Code § 1692, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) 47 U.S.C § 227, and other debt collection governing laws.

Have you been sued under the FDCPA or TCPA? Use the Contact Us form on the right side of this page for more information regarding how our attorneys can help you.

Collection Notice Review
Collection Notice Review (CNR) can be voluntary or required of a debt collector, depending on their affiliations or insurance coverage terms. Having an attorney review your notice is intended to prevent violations under the FDCPA thus helping to preclude lawsuits. Incorporating a CNR into a business’ policy and procedure is a good business practice which can aid your good-faith defense.
