Paternity and Related Proceedings

The family law attorneys of UTF can assist clients with paternity matters and all related proceedings, including, but not limited to, child support, custody, time-sharing, parenting plans, and parenting responsibility. Pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 742, any woman who is pregnant or has a child, any man who has a reason to believe that he is the father of a child, or any child may bring proceedings […] to determine the paternity of the child when paternity has not been established by law or otherwise. DNA testing is recognized as the primary method for determining paternity. We can assist fathers to gain custody and visitation rights, particularly for children born out of wedlock and/or out of international relationships. If you have any questions regarding your paternity rights or if you would like to schedule a consultation, please feel free to Contact Us.
